摘要
Egg Object Study is a small visual experiment about turning a simple form into a memorable digital object. Instead of using complex scenes, the work focuses on restraint: one object, one atmosphere, and a soft material language.
The goal is to understand how a 3D render can support a website or identity system without becoming too decorative. It should feel quiet, tactile, and slightly surreal.
主題
The piece begins with a rounded object form inspired by the idea of an egg: simple, symbolic, and easy to remember. The shape is not treated as a literal object only, but as a visual device that can sit between logo, sculpture, and website hero image.
The composition is intentionally sparse. The object is placed in a calm field with limited visual interruptions, allowing light, surface, and silhouette to carry the scene.
視覺
The visual direction uses a warm neutral background, soft contrast, and a slightly reflective material. The render should not feel like a technical demonstration. It should feel closer to a quiet poster, a gallery image, or a still from a minimal motion piece.
The most important quality is restraint. The object must remain strong enough to be remembered, but soft enough to leave space for typography and interface elements around it.
過程
The process is built around small adjustments: silhouette, lighting, material roughness, and image balance. Instead of adding more elements, the scene is refined by removing unnecessary details.
This makes the object more adaptable. It can become a homepage visual, a project thumbnail, a motion asset, or a visual motif across a larger brand system.
筆記
This page is designed as a project note rather than a traditional portfolio case study. The purpose is not to explain every technical step, but to show the visual thinking behind the work.
Future versions can add process screenshots, Blender viewport captures, material tests, and motion studies.
